I am interested in Home Care - what should I do next?

Home Care

Home care is a way of enabling people to remain living in their own home rather than moving into a residential or nursing home.  It provides personal care such as help getting in and out of bed, getting washed and undressed/dressed, and eating meals.  It can also provide help with collecting pensions, shopping, preparing meals and essential household hygiene.

The service is provided by Cumbria County Council who employ paid staff to visit clients in their own home.
