Where can I get personal help?
Personal Advisors are available in school from Year 9 (age 13 onwards).

Connexions Cumbria employs Personal Advisors (PA) who work with young people aged 13-19 (or up to 25 if you have a disability). They can advise you about your future and will listen to you.  You will meet your PA in Year 9 at school and they will help you when you leave school. They work in partnership with a range of agencies including schools and colleges, social services, health and housing, training providers, employment and benefit services, probation and local voluntary organisations.

Connexions have centres in Carlisle, Penrith, Whitehaven, Barrow, Maryport, Ulverston, Workington, Kendal and Millom.
